media not found

Hi,

My z1 told me my memory was getting full and to transfer photos and videos to my Sd card like I've done before. But this time, in the main album every picture that was transferred has a black background with a broken white mountain thing and when I find them in the sd card file I can see the pictures but when I click on them it says 'media not found ' I am going to throw it out the window if I can't get the pictures back as they are all of my newborn baby that I can't get back I hate technology!
Any help would be really appreciated

I did what you said

Try settings-apps-all-media storage,force stop and clear data.Restart.

Someone asked if this would delete all photos.. And you replied no ... Well it did!

No,it does not delete all media.After restart,it should index all your files again.It might take some time though.

Nope there is nothing... I've even plugged my phone into my pic and tried looking for the pics that way and there is nothing😥

Do you have a file explorer? The files should be there.Sorry,but I know what I am saying.Never before has that happened.
