Flickering Screen after 4.3 update!!!

anyone encountered a flickering display when opening small apps and when using the keyboard? any fix on this bug?

this is frequently happens in browsers when typing using the on screen keyboards..

Tried to restore to factory reset, no good.
Tried 3 different firmwares, but still no good.
Mine is sgp311 16g wifi only..

Please fix this ASAP sony..

Goodbye Sony. This is the last product I will buy of yours.
John lewis replaced the first one but this is doing it too. I don't care whether it's software it's your problem and you shouldn't have caused it and found a fix.

It still flickers after the new 10.4.1.B.0.109 update.

This has been frustrating tothe point where I'm seriously considering a new tablet. I have the issuein Chrome at times when just scrolling up and down- flicker with major distortion. Boat browser is the best if you have updated to 4.3. There is a free version, but it limits the number of tabs and some other features, but it's the only one that I've used that doesn't seem to flicker. It also offers flash player support on the tablet.

Wow... This is totally ridiculous... It still flickers after the latest upgrade to build 109. Sometimes it disappears - so it seems - but then it comes back. It is the most visible and annoying bug of 4.3!!! It is so easily reproducible! Just open Chrome and type something...

Начал использовать клавиатуру стороннего разработчика, стало лучше однако проблема иногда проявляется.

Hi All,

In case you are not aware... There is a workaround for this problem.

You need to enable Developer options (by tapping many times on "About" in Settings) and then set the checkbox "Disable hardware overlays". This removes the flickering. BUT my feeling is that the UI starts working "a bit different" after setting this checkbox. Maybe it's just my imagination, so you should try yourself. But it seems that screen refreshes slower and less smooth with this option. Of course, you can always uncheck it back, so it worth trying.

Anyway... it is VERY annoying that Sony doesn't fix it.

Just performed the latest update BUT screen still flickers.....

Just tried throw (4.3 broke this..)  - STILL NOT WORKING 

Works fine with my Xperia phone... 

Did this (long awaited fix) actually fix anything??????
