Flickering Screen after 4.3 update!!!

anyone encountered a flickering display when opening small apps and when using the keyboard? any fix on this bug?

this is frequently happens in browsers when typing using the on screen keyboards..

Tried to restore to factory reset, no good.
Tried 3 different firmwares, but still no good.
Mine is sgp311 16g wifi only..

Please fix this ASAP sony..

got 10.4.1.B.0.109 update for my Xperia Tablet Z WiFi SGP311GB in the UK. This Update didn't fix the flickering Screen Bug when using the onscreen keyboard with chrome. It's a shame sony didn't fix this problem.

I just contacted support and they told me to do a factory reset and or an update via pc. According to all the posts, this never works. It seems that Sony has a serious issue here. One that seems to have quite some history. I hope they get their act together real soon. I could have bought a Nexus or a Note for less without these glitches . The Xperia Ztablet could be the cream of the crop if Sony could work out the bugs.

Yup, me too, Chrome browser and 4.3 = flicker on keyboard. A bad flicker! Poor coding and UAT. Now using both Dolphin and UC HD browsers with zero flicker. At least someone can code worth a **bleep**...

Flickering seem to be with Sony keyboard only ... I install google keyboard and Touch Pal and doesn't see any flickering ..... let me know ...  thanks

correction with google keyboard I got flickering but not with Touch Pal

I get flickering with all keyboards, including Touch Pal.  What happens is that it seems random and therefore one keyboard may seem good for awhile but not all the times with all sites.

Just a few simple questions. Is this forum moderated by a Sony company representative? If so, is it too much to expect that said representative could reply to this issue? A simple acknowledgment that Sony recognizies this issue and will provide a fix ASAP would be most welcome.

Update on my end: my XPERIA Z phone has been recently updated to .101 software release and still does not flickr (it actually hasn't with earlier intermediary release either).

So I'm still at loss what is the issue with tablets?

@warbarkin - this will never happen as this would open doors to all liabilities of any sort.

I've noticed that the flickering occurs when using the keyboard in a lot of apps, and my wifi is downloading/uploading at the same time. Specifically it flickers as the download/upload stops. This is of course not 100% of the time, but appears to fit most of the occurrences.
