Thank you.
I have read this document, and again found what someone have read it wrong.
Here the direct link to a part of this document.
It says what devices using freq 5150-5350Mhz and 5650-5725Mhz (channels 36-64 and 132-144) with output power less than 100mW don't require any certifications.
And
Frequeinces 5725-5875Mhz (channels 149-165) and output power less than 5W don't require certifications.
I think it might be easier if you had direct contact with the persons handling this for your market in this case. I will try to arrange so that they contact you directly.
Yes, this will be very helpful. Thank you.
Maybe they can contact with us (owners X Performance) to?
The information i have received when i forwarded this internally is that we are unable to have these channels enabled in Russia due to EAC regulations. This is for both XZ and X Performance.
The reason i'm trying to arrange a direct contact between DrontTula and the persons handling this for Russia is that DrontTula appears to have knowledge about these regulations and that the information i have received might be outdated.
Perhaps you could share what information you get with @Desperanto?
@Rickard
Yes, i've shared information with Desperanto, but anyway everything stucks at russian support team.
@Desperanto have reported this issue to them in July, and still have no any response.
So i hope we will fix both issues after establishing direct contact with the persons handling this for Russia.
Xperia XZ get update to Android 7, and still have issue with forbidden 5GHz frequencies in Russia...
Russian support team have stopped replying on my mails, and everything looks like nobody want to resolve this misunderstanding 8(
Man, please read the thread before posting.
You will find the proofs that these frequeinces was forbidden more than a year ago, and now they a free to use.
So Sony should fix this issue.
Just to keep everyone informed. Got reply from russian support team, they said that according to EAC regulations only frequencies 5725-5875MHz banned (and it really so, I was wrong).
Now asking them why 5650-5725MHz disabled in Russia.
