Xperia S - JB email problems and others

Dear Sony Representatives,

I have just upgraded my Sony Xperia S smartphone to JB (200) software.

I am very unhappy, because it lowered my Sony experience with the smartphone, because:

1. Implementation of encryption of the phone - my corporate account is requesting me to encrypt my phone if encryption is available. In ICS it was not available so I was able to read my corporate emails, browse callendar etc. On JB (4.1.2) is is no longer possible becasue the phone is trying to encrypt my storage without success. It starts encrypting and then a green android robot shows on the screen for hours (tried for 3 hours so far) - nothing happens.

2. HD recording basically does not work - video is choppy and freezes at random moments (1080p recording). It somehow stuck on 19FPS that is far worse than it was in ICS (.55) software

3. No more 3d sweep panorama mode in the camera. No longer able to take panorama shots as it was.

Those three errors makes my phone practically unusable for my daily business life. Is there any chance to fix those issues?

I'm also experiencing the 2nd and 3rd bugs (problems?) you mentioned.

The lack of 3d sweep panorama is an irritating thing, I hope it will be brought back.

And 1080p recording... is just terrible. Laggy, choppy and stuttering.

Try reinstalling the software using SUS and check if the first problem may be fixed.

Hello Sir,

I have exactly the same issue with phone encryption. Now I cannot use the phone to receive email from work. This is very bad, Do you have a solution for this issue?

Installed JB yesterday with SUS and today re-installed using PC Companion.

Tried wiping out the internal memory, and also with factory reset... nothing worked.

Do you have any update about this problem? I had to flash my phone back to ICS to have my office email on it, but I really want to upgrade to JB.

A fix for this will be implemented in a upcoming software update (6.2.B.1.xx).

Unfortunately I don't have any exact timings for the release.

How about 2G (EDGE)? I can't even send MMS thr EDGE - 3G works gr8, so it's not carrier fault but JB .200...
