How to charge xperia SP through computer without installing drivers

My phone not getting charged through computer. How to charge phone without installing any software or driver in system/phone? Or do I need to change any setting in phone so that it get charge by usb through computer.

That seems odd, try other USB ports

This is 1st time m connecting phone to computer and tried with other USB ports also.

Are you using Sony's USB cable or some other brand?

It should work, hope the USB ports are working fine, check the ports before you do any repair to your phone...

Using the cable of sony. And USB is fine I guess as getting message on computer reg external hardware detection when connecting the phone.
