Hello people,
I just recently got Xperia P and found out that my accelerometer (or some meter thingy) isn't correct. Placed on a flat surface (even the floor) and my temple run is still tilted to the right. Was wondering if anyone experience this?
try the following, it works for me:
discharge your phone until it switch off itself (for example running your fav app, game, etc.). after the phone is off let it idle (do not switch on) for minutes. start charging, after minutes switch on the phone.
that's all.
It worked for me many times. I don't know the reason why the phone's accelerometer (or other sensor) locking, but it goes to unlocked state after the battery fully discharged. I dont't have any information about phone's circuit diagram, but the issue could be resolved using a software reset (power off, then on the sensor). it depends on the phone's electrical structure.
But:
It won't work if the phone normaly be switched off (the battery is not fully discharged).
good luck for everyone!

Have you tried repair phone software with sony update service?
I repaired with sony pc companion and no changes, what would I do?
I think it is hardware related,so my suggestion is to take the phone to a sony service.
