Hello people,
I just recently got Xperia P and found out that my accelerometer (or some meter thingy) isn't correct. Placed on a flat surface (even the floor) and my temple run is still tilted to the right. Was wondering if anyone experience this?
I recommend, you should bring it to any sony center near you. Or try to repair it using sus or pcc
I too have the same problem. Probabily all Xperia p mobile too has the same problem.. I am totally sick with Sony and its xperia series..
I tried repairing it but all it give me was that its updated/no software found.. I went to sony service center and the person who serve is not sure of the problem as well. Which is why i came here and see if there is anyone having the same problem as me. Turns out i'm not alone
Did they try to repair it there? Or did they just look at it?
Try to post a video too, so sony would see it and make a report about it. And so other xperia p user will be aware of the problem.
I will try to make a short video on the proble. But how do i report it? Should i return to the service center and ask them to check? The person only told me that it might be designed this way.
You can try to perform a test, dial *#*#7378423#*#* service test / accelerometer. x and y values should be around 0 va lue when placed on flat surface. Or try to compare it with another device .. It might be designed this way to make it more sensitive .
place on a flat surface and tried.. the values are x axis -0.5 y-axis 0.0 z-axis 10.0.. this shows that it is slightly towards the right.. can anypne tell how to resolve the problem..??
Yes, it does. I am not sure if there is calibration fix for it, have you tried searching? Let's see if there is another xperia p userhaving this prob.
