Missing Storage

I have 5.6 GB of apps, and 860 MB of pictures and videos (we'll say 1GB), and all the others including cache and misc, about 500MB is used!

So when considering the internal storage of 11.5 GB, I should have around 4 GB free! But it shows only 1.3 GB! There's no other hidden or any other file as I searched in file Commander!!

Why this is happening and how to fix it??

Try settings-apps-all-media storage,force stop and clear data.Restart your device and see how is the memory.Did you try to connect the device to computer and see how memory is shown?

That didn't work!

And when I connect to a PC it says 360 MB free! 😱 😱 But it's shown as 1.3 GB in the phone (still not correct)

You might have something from old apps,otherwise that doesn't make sense.Check in android-data and obb.

In OBB there's nothing! I mean all the folders are relevant for the apps that I currently have!!

Even in Data folder, I didn't find anything strange, all the sub folders in it were relevant for the apps that I have!

But, why it's showing 2 values in phone and PC??

It might be that windows does not see all the memory or otherwise.Really awkward though,did you use some task killers or cache cleaners?

No, I've never used any!!

This is really annoying sometimes!

Same thing happens to me, windows always shows less memory then the phone does. Really annoying
