Headphone volume

Why z3 compact's headphone volume too low? Sony says hi-res and dsee hx technologies do they not work? I use iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s volume better than z3 compact why?

I'm using Z3 Compact and I don't find the volume to be very low. Have you tried different headphones?

Personally I use Sony SBH20, I like them a lot.
