DSX-S300BTX: What devices can be used in the Tune Tray?

At the moment I'm using a 8GB stick in the external USB connection, but I would much prefer to use the internal USB connection.  It looks so untidy

But the internal connector doesn't seem to recognise any type of memory stick, and so far I've tried 5 different ones.

Does it have to be an iPod or Walkman, or is there a particular type of memory stick??

The support website of course recommends a Sony Micro Vault, but doesn't specify if that would work internally.

The manual shows pictures of whast appears to be a memory stick in use.

Contacted Sony support and they confirmed that any USB device working with the external connector will work with the internal connector.

They also recommended pressing the reset button.

I did this, and the internal connection came to life :smileygrin:

All sorted!
