Why ?

I set the power settings of the monitor of my PC to turn off after 1 minute, but when SonicStage program is running, it doesn't let my monitor to turn off automatically after 1minute!
Tell me why?

P.S: I don't have this problem with any other program apart from SS ! And because I'm downloading huge files all the time, I like my monitor to be off rather than reducing its life for nothing!
And because I have a W1, yes it's the only way to turn off the mnitor without shutting down the computer or put it in the standby mode.

i belive that the answer to your question is this :-

Sonic Stage runs in full screen mode, minimize SS should alow your monitor to turn off

No, because most of the time my SS is in minimized mode, especially when I leave the computer to download stuff. But even when SS isn't playing anything, and is just minimized, it doesn't let my monitor to turn off! It's like SS is sending a signal every few seconds to keep my computer awake! Tnx SS, I don't need that! Let my monitor rest in peace !
Maybe it's a bug, and in future upgrades of SS 3.0, they find out and sort it out.

i suppose thats another problem that ss has.
i have nothing else to propose but to just close the program if it doesnt do anything that important.or maybe take a good look at the program options to see if there is any change that is likely to solve this...
