Why does my Blu Ray not work?

Just tried to play Superman Returns on my VGN-AR21S with Cyberlink PowerDVD and it wont play. I've downloaded the firmware update for Matshita BD-MLT UJ-210S. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Also how do I get the motion eye to work?

Thanks

Adam

Is it possible WinDVD BD is in my laptop box or is it as it says and just pre loaded?

Hi Thalamus,

I'm starting to think something is major wrong at the minute... I just tried to download the WinDVD BD from the Sony web site and it says I can because it's not been previously installed. I also cannot find anything on my laptop to do with the motion eye.

As far as I was aware that version of InterVideo WinDVD BD Version 8.0.08.100 was a full install not a upgrade..

Just to be sure the recovery partition has been deleted you could try pressing F10 repeatedly when starting you vaio, this normally would start the recovery process.. (back up all important data first.. )

If that does not work and you have not created a set o recovery disc's, then you will have to contact Vaio-Link to purchase a new set of recovery DVD's..:smileysad:
