typing issues, not everything comes on the screen as i type

i have had this vaio now a while (March/April) and at first i thought i was typing wrong which seem'd a bit strange since i type all the time at work and there is nothing wrong with that!!! but then i noticed as i type there are errors and not from me, the vaio (VGN-FE41Z) seems to be making the errors such as not making spaces when i hit the space bar and the a especially is terible in certain applications.
is this a problem with the vaio or with vista???
does anyone else have this problem?
how can i solve this?
do i have to return yet another vaio?
appriciate a response from anyone who thinks they might know what is going on

Is it in specific applications e.g. microsoft office / outlook?

I have found a delay when I type in outlook.

It happens vhen i write on forums, Windows mail is OK.Right now, i dont do much writing in other places.I'll try different places and let you know.Thank you.

The problem is getting worse!
Typing is fine on word, on mail. Its forums that's a big hassle, the letters do what they want!!! 3 whole minutes to type this!
Who is going to take care of this ? my retailer or Sony ?

Hi calikid,

Have you checked your system for spyware/malware/viruses? As this only seems to happen when you are typing ‘on-line’ it would suggest that you have an unwelcome visitor on your system.

Yes, i did a complete analysis with my Bitdefender Internet10, nothing was found, everything 's clean.Typing is ok on Works, Word , and all other applications.it happens on all the forums i use ( only 3)

I have the same problem and it is driving me mad. I have a VGN-BX297 Laptop with Vista Premium. It never did this with XP. I have isolated the problem to IE7, in that I only have the problem when posting to forums, using webmail, filling in online orders etc. Word, Windows Mail etc. are fine. The problem is so bad I have to resort to typing posts in notepad and then pasting them in!

No viruses or spyware, no CPU hogging software running.

If anyone knows how to fix this I would be most grateful!

Hi calikid,

Have you tried a different browser. e.g. Firefox or Opera (assuming you are using IE)? If we can narrow down the problem to a particular browser then we may be able to identify the Add-on that may be causing the problem.

I didnt think of IE7 ! i have firefox and will try the 3 forums tonite;i 'll let you know.I keep my fingers crossed!
