FE-31 HS-CARD Memory Card reader

Hello,
I have a FE 31Z and I have a problem with my memory card reader. Not the built-in one, but the one memory adapter wich can be plugged on the side.

When I plug it, it is recognized and the drivers seem to be installed in the device manager. But when I inseret a card and try to access it, the windows just freezes and nothing happens. I installed all the drivers fore the update site, I tried to uninstall-reinstall the drivers but it's still the same. I'm desperate. I'm by the way talking about this issue on this forum:

I'm on Vista familial installed from the update CDs.

Welcome to the Club,

I've had friends usb flash memory cards blocked by the firewall. Try turning off the firewall, introduce the memory stick and then allow in in the firewall exceptions once it is working
