Downloading to computer

Hi there,

I have recently bought another new card reader - my third - and yet again, after a few uses my computer fails to see it.

I am not sure if this is a fault with the laptop, the card or the card reader but I would like to try using a lead directly from the camera to the laptop.

Does anyone know which lead I need - even the guy in the Sony shop was not sure if it was a mini / micro USB or something else entirely.  My camera is the DSLR a200.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

I don't use the camera much, and would definitely class myself as a beginner - and not great at technology!  So any help massively appreciated.

Hi Janewoodie and welcome to the Community!

You need a USB 2.0 cable for the Alpha 200, here's some examples

on Amazon: Click here although other retailers or even Ebay have them.
