I bought my xperia z few days back and am really enjoying my experience with xperia z. But it's low light performance is disappointing and it becomes more annoying when flash is on in low light, a certain part of the picture ( nearer to the flash side) get more light and become whitish, while the other side( that is away from the flash) remains dark. Is there some issue with my phone ...?? ( uploading a sample photo, right side is having more light then left).

there are myriad threads on this, the issue here is that you have either
1) protective case
or
2) an extra protective film that is too close to the flash, thus creating this purple hue

well there you go, the scratch resistant film covers the LED flash, that's the issue, you have 2 options
1) remove the film
or
2) remove it and cut a whole around the flash

Thanks buddy... :smileyhappy::smileyhappy::smileyhappy:
Will cut it around the flash...
another query have is that is this glass is as strong and resistant to scratches like gorilla glass...? My screen guard is having few scratches in just 1 week of use..and moreover is the same scratch guard available in the market that comes within the box..?? What if I remove the scratch resistant film and use it without any other protection...??

do NOT remove the ASF (anti-shatter film) that's pre-installed, do not remove it, it might void the warranty if you do so, the scratch resistant film (the extra film in the box) can be replaced with others available in the market
