Repair booked

Hi my phones booked in for a repair, do I need to factory reset it and remove all screen protectors and sim/sd cards before I send it?  Also it's asking for the current charger and cable your using also, I'm based in the UK it's just my phone is taking too long to charge as in this picture on a quick charge 3.0 wall charger and it's dischargeing too quick, what's the liklihood they'll replace they'll replace the battery or will they say a factory reset will do it? Thanks Richard

Hi @randombeats, sorry for the late reply to your post.

I would strongly recommend that you remove the SIM and SD cards from your device before handing it in and depending on the service routines in your market, you may need to remove the screen lock as well if you haven't done so.

For the screen protector part, I don't think that you will need to remove it, but I can't guarantee that it will still be mounted on the device when you get it back. If you can remove it and then reapply it, remove it, but if you won't be able to reapply it, it should be totally fine to keep it on.

It's very hard to say what the service centre will do with the device before it has been examined, but when they know what is the cause of this, they will take the appropriate action to resolve it.

I hope that helps!
