Constant games ad pop ups etc

I seriously can not cope with this rediculous phone any longer. Stuck with this awful Xperia XZ till June, wven the shop that sold it me says they no longer recommend xperia at all! Constant ads popping up ALL the time. Everything I have tried doesnt get rid of them. Phone virtually unusuable! Help!!

Hi @Kezza1, sorry to hear about this.

Ads are always coming from either a downloaded application, or from open tabs in a web browser, there is no ads by default in the device.

To see if these applications are coming from downloaded applications, you can restart your device in safe mode and see if you experience the same behaviour, as downloaded applications will be temporairly disabled in this mode.

If you are using the pre-installed Chrome web browser in your device, I would recommend that you open it up and tap the little square with a number inside of it, just to the right of the address bar > tap the three dots in the top right corner > Close all tabs.
