I was wondering if I would need a generic tablet slipcase to use when the keyboard is attached (I will be using it to link to my GP surgery software system when visiting patients), and then a dedicated case when I am just carrying the tablet around on its own. A number of good third party products have been produced over the years for previous Sony tablets, usually representing much better value than Sony's offering. (although I am using a white leather Sony case I got cheap last Amazon Black Friday for my XZ Tablet)
