z2 screen doing what it likes

Hi, my xperia z2 is doing what it likes. I cant unlock the screen due to it imputting what it likes. Its like im pressing the screen but im not touching it. It started after I took it into water, it worked fine for about a hour, then the screen went funny colour on the left side of the screen and it was flickering, so I left it in rice over night and have used a blow dryer (on a low heat and short bursts) but it has only made the screen viewable. It still does what it likes and now I cant even unlock the screen as it imputs numbers even though im not even touching the phone? im hugly disappointed as I just came on holiday and this happened on the first day and I have 3 more weeks to go, and work to do as well with no way to contact my business or access my emails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I turned it off using the power and volume buttons but every time I try turning it on its the same problem. Thanks in adavance

If putting it with flaps open in rice didn't help, then you'll have to visit the nearest Sony service center to get it examined:

Well i dont thin 1 night in rice can clear the inside.  on your place i would leave it for 1 week in rice. If the device is unusable then i dont think it makes a change on how long you leave it in rice. Remember to turn off the device and open all flaps. Turn it off by pressing and holding for few seconds the power button with the volume up or by pressing and holding the red botton next to your sim. However on your place i would send it to Sony for a vacuum test to make sure if it wasnt the device faulty device.  Maybe you have a faulty 1.
