Z2 charging problem

Hi,

bought my Z2 last september. It appears i have the strangest charging problem. Suddenly my phone decided that my 12V car charger would be the only one he accepts.

- USB port on PC doesn't work (it keeps turning plugged/unplugged without charging like if there was a contact problem)

- USB port on regular power supply doesn't work

- Same for magnetic dock, on both PC and regular.

The USB wire is working. The probleme comes from the phone.

No probleme with my 12V car charger, the phone charges like it has ever did.

Did not found any similar post anywhere.

Help needed.

Thanks

@Sitrale

What if you use a different wall charger and/or usb cable?

@Sitrale

This is what I would do, restart the phone, if that doesn't work, repair the phone

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

It seems you don't understand my problem. Let me explain it again .

My phone is charging only in my car.

Pluggin my phone on a wall charger is not working.
Pluggin my phone on a PC is not working.
Won't stop turning on/off as if there was a contact problem.

As my phone is charging in my car, the probleme can't be software. It has to be hardware.
As my phone is charging in my car with the same USB cable, it means the cable's ok.

i can't link my phone to me PC to restore it. As the connections between my xperia and my PC is not possible.

Only on the 12V from my car.

@Sitrale

That might be a hardware issue, contact your local Xperia Care ASAP
