Xperia Z - water damage

My phone has been sent to the team of sony because water damage and all of the licks were closed and I haven't gotten an answer from sony yet. How can I know what is happening with my phone? I have contacted the regional store and they have been telling me that I still need to wait because they are waiting for an answer from sony. I would like to know what is happening with my phone ASAP

I wouldnt hold your breath, mine has also been returned to service centre for the same reason and I too can gaurantee all flaps were closed. I am always a little dubious to their claims so always run a finger firmly across all flaps before putting any amount of water near it. Sony will simply say that it has water damage and deny the claim. Best suggestion to anybody is to ignore the waterproof claim and keep it away from water like any normal phone.
