It is very horrible! It cant even run 2 apps next to each other, one will be closed! Please fix this. You open Chrome, you start walkman, and while you are browsing, walkman stops. You start walkman, Chrome stops, and launches again (eating your mobile data...). It even stops the launcher and my live wallpaper.
Yesterday it was the most agressive ever! It didnt let me start a program. It closed the running game, which I was playing. I did a restart, and everything went back to normal (so you can run 2 apps maximum, lol).
YES, I reinstalled via SUS 2 times, YES I updated and reinstalled via PCC.
Please fix, multitasking is a dream on this phone (dream=doesnt exist). It doesnt feel like it has 1GB RAM, but like 100MB.
same here
Sony do something please
Never used walkman, but i have never faced the issue of application closing.
I have extensively used phone for office work, where in i am on call, with web conf running on Webex pluging and i am moving stuff from my emails at the same time
May be its something to do with walkman only
Buggy software,as always for the first update.Try to repair phone software,if you had not done this before.
When I play a game and someone calls me, the game resets. I'm losing my save and load the game again.
When surfing on opera or firefox walkman itself off.
When I go back to the previously minimized the web browser, then open earlier pages load again.
Middle button "home" does not work as minimizing, just as close.
Chrome needs a lot of resources.
Have you tried using other apps, for example Google play instead of walkman and Dolphin instead of Chrome. You can also try to delete Chrome cache, see if that helps
There is an app you can download from play store which solves these problems and mean the phone never runs out of ram.
The app is called ram manager pro. If you root your phone on stock rom, locked boot loader, you can set it to cache to a swap file on your SD card. The downside is this extra writing to SD will shorten it's life.
The plus side though is you can run loads of apps and phone never shuts anything down. Press home key and launcher immediately appears. It feels like you have a phone with 2GB ram. Nice. Swap file can be anything up to 1GB in size. I use 512MB (enough extra).
2 things - You need to be routed and SD card location is sdcard1 not sdcard0. You don't want to shorten the life on the phones built in memory! Also if you have a slow micro SD card expect it to cause issues. My class 10 one works a treat.
You can adjust various settings such as how often it caches to SD.
Don't worry. Routing is possible even with a locked bootloader and if you want to unroute simply flash the stock firmware and the device is derouted.
