Xperia SP Display Problem!

All SP owners please check this in your phone as well.

I'm having problems with my sp's display when the phone is kept on horizontal surface.

In the video,  phone is kept on the bed and i'm trying to use it. But you can see  the screen just misses the touch 😕 I wonder why.

This only happens when the phone is kept horizontally.

Ps: screen guard is not the problem since I checked with 2 different guards and phone works perfectly in hands.

PS2 > The screen works fine while phone is put to charging.

I have just received my phone back from the repair centre today & al looked promising while setting the phone up yet again............

However, it now looks as though the problem has returned 

Am now a bit more pissed off about this issue than I was before as Sony really don't seem to recognise this issue or can't get the phone to replicate it!!

The report that came back with the phone doesn't suggest that they did a lot apart from a software upgrade, which I had done anyway!!

Come on Sony, this needs to be sorted ASAP!

Hi...

I think this probably happen only when you use certain charger... few 3rd party charger have different voltage that will cause the screen not able to respond normally.

Try with original charger.

I don't think software upgrade will solve this.

The first time I send my phone to service center, this is what they did, beside reinstall the whole software (and enable the glove mode). By the time the phone just return to me, it is perfect! BUT, the problem re-occur within 5 hours.

Second time I bring to service center, they finally agree to change the screen for me. It just take within three hour before they call me up that the phone already repaired.

Just take back my phone 4 hours ago, and so far everything normal. Hope it last through.

@localbus     This issue occurs when the phone isn't on charge. Being on charge seems to stop it from happening.

@LSS          Please update us as to how you get on with your phone now you've had a new screen fitted, would be good to know if this does solve the issue. (what country are you in?)

BUT up to now it's quit dessappointing (even after screen change)

Yes it occur again.

Will explain in more detail once I get the time.

Need to make another video to convience Sony Service center that this is "PHONE PROBLEM", NOT MY PROBLEM ! ". As I can expect they will say something like "we already change screen for you, how come still got problem? Are you sure?, Do you use it correctly?"

Only Sony have that answer.

Sony service center kind enought to change the touchscreen for me.

However, after phone return, it's still far from my expectation.
