I´m having a big problem with my Xperia L, my phone always worked very well, but 3 days ago it stoped it stoped charging.
I plugged on the USB, on the original jack, it looks like charging (the charge icon appears, the light turns on, but it does not charge the battery).
I thought that was the battery and bought one new (original), but he kept not charging, tried to turn on the phone and plugged the USB cable , he starts to charge, but veeeery slow.
Now he just charges the battery with the phone turned on, but not pass 60% both the new battery as with the old.
Sometimes when it´s plugged on the USB the PC recognizes the phone but the conection "falls" (just for 1 second) and recognizes again.
My phone never dropped or wet (At least that I can remember).
Somebody had that problem? Somebody could help me?
Kind Regards,

Hi rochignall,
Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
With the information supplied, I can advise that this could be related to 1 of 2 things, the first being the USB cable and the second being a software issues on the device.
I first suggest that you try using an alternative Charge cable if possible, failing this option, I suggest trying a software repair on the device. Please try the below information.
1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion
And install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps
I hope this helps.
