Hello.
I’m wondering about a lot of things in Xperia V. I’m like an owner of this devise would like to see that Sony cares about customer (update apps, improve them etc.). For now I would like to discuss “Contacts” app which is preinstalled in all Firmwares.
Why developers couldn’t add some very helpful options in this app, such as:
1)Ability to see Company and Job title for each person in contact list. When I am opening Contacts, I have, for example, 3 or 5 names John. I don’t know theirs “Lastname” but I know Companies and Job titles. I have to open each one while I find contact which I need. I would like to see in contacts – LastName, FirstName and under Name – company and job title.
2)Make search in contacts not only by FirstName or LastName. Add please other options to search: any word from notes, company, job title, birthday and so on.
3)Add to local calendar contacts birthday. I know that there is an option – to add contacts with their birthday in Google calendar, after sync and so on. It’s not for me. I don’t like any synchronizations. I also own iPhone and I admire like they make any app. Take for example Contacts app – there are so much wonderful and helpful things. If you add company profile – there will be different picture and I can see that it’s company, not a person. They added local birthday calendars. When I add a birthday for any person – its automatically displaying in calendar and remind me. I don’t need to sync it with something – just add person and phone makes all for me. In Xperia I have to add each birthday to calendar manually. It’s very annoying.
