Water proof

I bought my xperia Z2 four months ago and one month ago I just take a selfish in the swimming pool under 0.5 to 1 m of depth about 4 to 7 minutes. And my USB and sd card slot caps was locked gently. So one month ago after use z2 under the water it doesn't work gently then I visited to authorised service centre of Sony and given my z2 to them after a week company was given me estimate cost of Rs. 13,000. And i very rude with the company because it's proved that z2 is water resistance but it is not. And i go with the pay for estimate. Which was totally worst that to buy Sony xperia Z2

I'm sorry that this happen to you but you have to firmly close the covers, contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test, this will prove who is at fault, you or you have a defective device, keep in mind that if your phone has cracks anywhere, yoru phone its no longer waterproof.
