Volume too low!!!

Does any of you Sony employees know if Sony is going to fix Z1C's low audio volume on headphones? I'd realy like to know because if not I'm able to return Z1C to shop in a few days from now. I'm really dissapointed when I compare Z1C to my former iPhone. I noticed sites with instructions how to root the phone and use volume mod but I'd rather not to loose my guarantee. Please write what you know/what you can tell.

Hi,

i'm using my 1 compact now like 2 weeks and her is my very very big disappointment: Volume/audio while listening to audio (music, mp3 etc) via headphone is too low. I mean the sound level. Sound quality is OK to me. But in a louded environment like on the traffic, a factory it is very hard to understand what i am listenin clearly. Comparing with all of other devices that i can get at this moment this is a very weak point. Compared with a Samsung S4, an Acer Tablet, my old Xperia Neo V and secondary android phone Jiayu G3S. My earphones: Sony XBA1IP and they are awesome.

My last Xperia was a Neo V and i am still using it to listen my lovely tracks. After disappointing with sound of Z1 Compact i am glad that i still kept my old Xperia Neo V which give me much more better audio then Z1 Compact. I am listening mostly my MP3 and collection (average bitrate and lots of them above 192Kbps)  also some audiobooks and sometimes radio and audio streams. Never using extern speakers except some Facebook videos and usual notifications, ringtones.. So i don't bother with extern speakers.

Tried a few tricks with options like equalizer, clear audio and other effects but it is still too low.

Hope will be fixed with an upcoming firmware. I don't want to **bleep** my phone to root or ustom ROM s..

Summarizing: A lovely uniek walkman app but very poor audio level on my 1 compact

Best regards,

For me built-in speaker is very loud while playing YouTube videos or music from Walkman app but too low when I use speakerphone mode while talking in Phone app. The most annoying is low headphones volume in every app.

Yes. Volume in all headphones tried is so low on max that it is impossible to listen to audiobooks/pod radio etc in moderately noicy city surroundings. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

I see I'm not alone. There are other "deaf" people around the world.

Is there anything we can do to raise the volume on the Xperia SP

In my car I have to have it at MAX and even then im struggling to hear my audiobooks and callers via bluetooth

Its awful and the quality of the 3.5 aux port is lousy

My Iphone was in a different league and I miss it

I have the xperia z1s and I hate that the volume is so disgustingly low.. I tested it and call customer service and everything it's a disappointment for this to have this named sony. I love sony always have everything I own is sony but getting this phone makes me so very very sad. You need to make some changes on this volume situation.. Fast.. Cause it's killing me. Even cheaper 40 prepaid phones are louder.. It's a disgrace.. And I'm ashamed to carry this phone.

Some news about it? The volume is too low, I have an external jack speaker, and with the volume at máx, I cant listen well. My old Arc S, and my ipad, and older phone sounds higher. I have a jack input in my radio car, and the volume of the Z1C is too low, I have to increase a lot of the radio car volume to listen well.

For me the sound is great while listening to music through headset. Change the settings in Walkman app. I have checked the clear audio + and dynamic normaliser it definitely boosts the audio quality.
