Does any of you Sony employees know if Sony is going to fix Z1C's low audio volume on headphones? I'd realy like to know because if not I'm able to return Z1C to shop in a few days from now. I'm really dissapointed when I compare Z1C to my former iPhone. I noticed sites with instructions how to root the phone and use volume mod but I'd rather not to loose my guarantee. Please write what you know/what you can tell.
i just bought Z1 compact .. the phone is great exept the very low volume in my headphone and speaker too , is the new update going to fix this , or is this a fault in the phone design and i'll have to live with it ?? and does buying another sony headphone may fix this problem ??
Seriously, this volume issue of Z1 Compacts really needs to be cared. Now I'm sure that I haven't got any hearing problems after I saw that chart. Ridiculously no matter which phone I add to chart, Z1 Compact proudly takes the last place. I will wait a few months more if any update is going to be released to fix this problem. If not, bye bye Z1 Compact, welcome to any other phone with an acceptable volume output. This is just very annoying for people who use their phones mostly as a music player.
The source of those benchmarks can be found here:

If your phone's rooted and on stock 4.4.4 firmware, there's a fix for the low volume problem here (to moderator: not sure if this is allowed, please remove this post if necessary)
Very interesting results there @ZOMBELEK!
Actually amazing considering Sony's music player heritage... hopefully this will be addressed but I really can't see it
