Sony Z1 Compact Not Chargin

Hi,

My relatively new (about 3 months old) Sony Z1 compact is no longer charging.  It came up with an error along the lines of "your phone is discharging at a faster rate than charging".  So I tried to reset the phone using the Android SEttings page.  This started the soft-reset.  However, in the middle of this process, the phone battery died completely (With the charger plugged in).

Now the phone won't even boot up or start.

Please help.

I think you should stop by a sony service.But did you try another charger?

Thanks. I had to send it away to Sony Repairs and they advised that they have to change the main board. They initially tried to identify any physical damage and failed to.
