Hello, i have been using the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Wt13i for almost 2 years now. Recently, i updated the phone by using the Update Service and the phone worked without any problem for a few days, i discovered a new setting Screen Timeout and then the trouble started. I selected the 15 sec for the screen to timeout. However, the screen timeout ever time i unlock the phone and remains off. I went back to Update Service and updated the phone again to fix that problem, but the screen timeout still turns the screen off during 15 sec after i lock and unlock it..

I cannot take calls as i cannot see who is calling.
Brightness cannot be adjusted as it turns the screen off..

I would advise backing up and resetting the phone then running the repair one more time:

To repair the phone software
1.     Install PC Companion on a Windows PC from Support
2.     In PC Companion, under Support Zone and click Start.
3.     Under Phone Software Update, click Start.
4.     Click repair phone.
5.     Follow the on-screen instructions.

So, and how to update/repair the firmware from an WT13i??

Because evry version will updte to the latest version, and so thephone will not be recogniced...
