Some water bits getting inside Z1

Some water are getting inside my z1 on both sides where you charge and put SD Card and MicroSim., just where that arrow is pointing. On those sides is this normal or safe?

Note: I didn't put the water in the pool. I was just washin it from the faucet and there tiny waters.

in the mean time, place your box in a container with rice or fabric with rice so there's more air flow, sorry to say this but if the covers/flaps weren't closed properly there's nothing to do here

You could take it to a Sony repair center and request a "vacuum test"

The covers are completely shut thats why I'm here asking is this normal? My phone is not broken. It's just tiny water entering the covers. And I was pouring water on it, I didn't put it under water. I don't have a good camera to take a picture of the inside covers getting tiny bits of water. Thanks tho.

Water should not enter, you might want to take it to a Sony repair center and request the vacuum test as there might be a manufacture issue.

So I'm the only Z1 user here who got this problem? What does Vacuum test do? Any Z1 users here try pouring water or putting you're Z1 in the water and check if theres a little tiny dots of water on the inside covers?(At the Sides)

Water should not be able to enter the phone when holding it under pouring water with all covers closed.

I recommend that you contact a service location for further investigation.

Vacuum test means that the service location tests the phone to see that's there's no leakage when covers are closed.

You are not the only one. I just experienced it myself. I bought Xperia Z1 7 days ago. 

I wash the phone gently with a normal water tap at my kitchen for less than a minute with all flaps closed tightly. 

After 30 minutes, the phone went dead. I open up all the flaps, the indicator are white but I saw few drop of water in there. 

I went to Sony Service Center, I ask for a new replacement of the unit. I told them you shouldnt get me to pay for a defective unit and wait for you to repair a defective unit and throw it back to me. I am paying the full price, not sub-discount for a reject or defective good. I have not get any reply from them yet and they ask me to wait for 2 weeks without a phone. 

Let look at the test result on Sony page and what they have advertised as one of the feature of the phone. 

We can bring this up and sue them for pushing the defective cost to the consumer if they are throwing back it to you without a new replacement.

Your device is waterproof and dust resistant in compliance with the Ingress

raining, or when humidity levels are high. See the table below for more details.

The IPX5 and IPX8 ratings are based on tests lasting 30 minutes in water depths of 1.5 metres.

Actually that happens to me. I have submerged it a few times with no problems and the last time I saw an air bubble pop from the port so I freaked out and took it out right away...

But when I opened it there were only 1or 2miniscule droplets around the edges but not actually inside the sim or USB port, I thought that was normal as if you have a look it seems like the waterproof band is not right on the edges of the cover meaning a little water will get through the cover but not through the waterproof part of it

Someone correct me if I'm wrong though!
