Hallo

Sometimes I have the same problem. It is shutting down only when the battery is loaded more than 90%. After I purchased the phone, it has done it about every 10 minutes. The error message was like “lost the SIM-card”. Afterwards I replaced the SIM-card with a new one. Now it's much better. Perhaps it is shutting down once a month. It’s ugly but tolerable if it’s stays like that. I don’t want to setup all with a new device…..

The is up to date with updates. As alwayBetter mentioned is the case! It has only happened to me twice sofar! I don't want setup all with a new device either or send it off for repair! Not so happy about this! What if it's switches off itself during important time you're awaiting an important phone call!? Slightly_frowning_Face

I've had mine shut down now 3 times in the last month...

Was absolutely FUMING the other day!... phone is up to date etc and I am self employed and run my own shop and the other day my phonen turned itself off (thus cancelling all of my 8 alarms to wake up!!!) and I ended up opening my shop 3 hours late and had some VERY VERY angry customers... not happy!

Exactly that is what happened today morning, I was an hour and half late for work! You can not simply rely on the phone! Hopefully Sony will do something about it! I PAID £600 FOR MY Z1! Don't really know what to do!?

i dont mind it rebooting... not a problem... but switching off and not doing alarms... not on... sales of goods act springs to mind...!

True!, but it is clearly a fault! Sony just need to find out about the fault and would better fix as soon as possible!

Yeah, I got this problem as well !!!! It will shut down at least once per month !

It's anonnying, I missed 3 of the alarms and that makes me nearly late for work !! Z1 will automatically shut down without any signal. Battery is not runnning low, software are uqdated one.

That is the first time I purchase Sony over the past 10 years ! This makes me hesitate if my next cell phone should go on with Sony or not.
