SD not recognized

Hi,

I've bought a 32GB SD card (a Samsung Evo).

My phone (Xperia M2) does not recognize it. In the parameters, it says "Please enter the SD card to mount" (well in french actually).

My computer does recognize it. I've tried powering off and on the phone, with and without the card, but it doesn't change anything. I've also tried re-formatting the card. Still not working.

Any idea how I could solve this ?

Does your phone recognize another SD card?

Have you tried formatting it with a low level format tool? Is the format chosen exFAT?

I haven't got any other card to test.

And I tried both ms-dos (fat) and exfat, but none of them work.

What about guiFormat? Have you tried that app? Thommo used to recommend it.

Ok I'll look into it. Though my computer is a mac, not sure the guiFormat app is available for it.

I think that you might want to check another card,because sometimes compatibility issues occur.
