Screen freeze/unresponsive when waking

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not, i've searched high and low but cannot find anyone with the same issue.

Basically every few days the screen on the phone will freeze and not wake correctly. I press the power button but only the backlight comes on, i can see the screen is on but it's black. If i then press the power button again i can see the screen is off. There is no way i can escape this apart from restarting the phone.

The odd thing is, when the screen is on(just a black illumiated screen) I can press and hold the power button and the power menu appears! 

I've tried several factory resets, clearing cache partiton and also a firmware repiar.

Any pointers as to what i can do going forward?

As the issue still remain after a software repair I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
