Problem with my headphone jack

Hi,

I've been having this problem where whenever I plug my headphones in, first there is a clicking sound before the music starts, and then when the music does start to play it sounds as if it is coming from really far away, until I bend the wire on my headphones. At first I thought it was the headphones themselves, but I've replaced them many times and recently got a pair of sennheisers and the problem is still occurring.

Can anybody help?

You can visually inspect if there's something clogging the jack, but don't insert anything sharp to clean it. The best advice is to send the phone for examination at your nearest Sony Support center.
