problem with headphone jack

hi, i have my xperia z2 for a while now. and i am getting problems with the headphone jack. i will explain.

first my headphones will work fine, but after a while of using the same headphones (a few months), all out of the blue it will stop recognising the headphones. after the first time this happened i thought okay... i will buy new headphones. they worked, but now after a few weeks only, my phone stopped recognising them. its starting to get really anoying! how can i fix this!

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion, to rule out software issues.

after the full repair it still does not work! am i supposed to let it get a repair by sony? and how because i have a contract with KPN for my sim. and i got the phone with it.
