Evening all had my xperia z3 for a day and a half went to go unlock it tonight and screens displaying nothing. Can still see backlight and vibrations but nothing

I've had no issues with the older gens the z and z1 and was quite excited about this new gen phone. I've tried resetting it and repairing on pc companion to no avail so is booked in with sony repair fingers crossed it gets fixed. But I just hope someone at sony reads all these posts regarding this issue and gets it resolved or let us no how they'll sort out this issue

I could do ill ring them in morning dude just worries me that's all waitin anxiously to hear the verdict of being repaired or not

UPDATE!!!! After ringing up sony my phones been received and is currently undergoing diagnostics with a technician to determind what's caused the issue. There currently testing the motherboard,charging port and battery to see which has caused the fault (my money on motherboard) fingers crossed ill have it back next week if I've heard nothing from them by monday I have to ring up and get another update.

i had the same problem with my z3.

i got it back with a note that the motherboard had been exchanged.

UPDATE 2!!! Rang up again regarding the status of my z3 and its been deemed as unrepairable!

engineers couldn't get mine back up and running again so I'm now waiting for one to be authorised to get exchanged with mine and hopefully I'm gonna get another handset
