NOT IMPRESSED!! xperia z3 screen blank

Evening all had my xperia z3 for a day and a half went to go unlock it tonight and screens displaying nothing. Can still see backlight and vibrations but nothing I've had no issues with the older gens the z and z1 and was quite excited about this new gen phone. I've tried resetting it and repairing on pc companion to no avail so is booked in with sony repair fingers crossed it gets fixed. But I just hope someone at sony reads all these posts regarding this issue and gets it resolved or let us no how they'll sort out this issue

I meant unlock as in screen lock sorry dude but I pressed power button that's when I noticed the blank screen

So you pressed the power button to unlock the screen but it didn't display anything?

I wonder if he meant that he unlocked the bootloader? or unlocked the phone from a network/carrier? or just unlock the screen

From what i read and from what i understood is that he pressed the power button and nothing showed up on the display only backlight.

I have no lock on my phone so its basically pressed the power button to get into my phone aka to use fb texts ect and nothing displayed only the backlight illumiates. I haven't unlocked the bootloader or unlocked it from the carrier as its a sim free phone

Has the phone been in contact with water, rain, etc? but do contact your local Xperia care
