Many Z1S Issues After Lollipop Update

I've searched the threads, but didn't see anything related to my problems, so please excuse me if I missed it.

Since I updated to Lollipop this weekend I've had the following issues:

1. When the (stock)messaging app is open it doesn't chime when a new message comes in and sometimes when the screen is off I don't receive a notification chime either. I have made sure it's on and set to a tone.
2. MMS messages automatically go to "Queued For Sending" and won't send until I either A. restart my phone or B. delete the MMS and send it again.
3. Web browsers take forever to load or won't load at all until I back out and try again.
4. When the lock screen is on I no longer have the message icon in the upper left corner as before. Now it just says Tmobile. I do have it set to show notifications when the lock screen is on, but I don't like having the message show on the lock screen and if I turn it off I don't see notifcations for messages at all.
5. 'Brightness'  setting doesn't seem to get as bright as it did before the update which isn't that much of an issue until I am in the sunlight and even then it seems the screen isn't bright enough to see everything.

Suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

you might want to get a brand new SIM card, see if that helps

there is no any xperia care centre in pakistan

secondly why new updated software is full with error?

is that not possible to cover issue online way?

I've seen others complaining on this, but I haven't been able to recreate this issue.

hi my z1 since the latest update has gone extremely slow,also when changing screen the apps slowly appear, when I press the image of the person I called it comes up as if to call the person then drops off, also it gets extremely hot and has 4g and WiFi at same time I would be greatly for any help,many thanks in advance

It has been suggested to reinstall the latest update with Sony PC Companion.
