Hello,

I'm coming from Samsung S3.

I could not set a live wallapaper for my lockscreen in Z2..Is there a workaround or should it be expected in newer software release?

You will need to try a different lockscreen app from the playstore, there's no info if that will be implemented later on

Tried selecting a theme thru main-screen? Long tap, themes > Xperia TM > dynamic mode? I have it in my software (rev. 17.1.A.2.55 , 3.4.0-perf-g46a79a0), later you can change the normal screen wall to static to save ram and accu, and the lock screen should stay dynamic mode.

I could not find a "dymanic mode" option..Can you pleae post a screen shot?

Sorry for Polish mode of the device, you should get to it just fine.. (that's the latest available soft for my 6503 - the .55 rev)

1. long press main screen
2. Themes (on the right icon with 3 colors squares),
3. Choose Air, or Xperia (depands on the market I guess which is default, anyway should be deep purple or dark blue)
4. Apply Theme with Dynamic Wallpaper (or animated).
5. The lock screen now should be animated, and let you select a normal static jpeg for home screen wallpaper.

But "Dynamic wallpaper" option is available only with "Air" theme not other themes.

I'm coming from Samsung Galaxy s3,so lacking live wallpaper in lockscreen is a minor shock to me.I have to wait for firmware upgrade or other workarounds

Thats correct, however the AIR theme is multi colored that change the colors depending on the time with finger on the screen, I don't quite like it either, well I'm a man and not comfortable with a pink color on my device, I agree there should be color dedicated dynamic wallpaper, or at least with static color like old Xperia Wave Theme. They probably took the easiest way with multicolor than 8 different separate wallpapers.
