Flash light cannot be turned off after firmware upgrade

After upgrading to Android 5.1.1 build 23.4.A.1.200 if the flash light is turned on it cannot be turned off. Only reboot will fix this. Flash light was working without problems before the upgrade.

Can I do somethign to fix this or do I have to wait next firmware release?

Are you using any application for your flashlight? Or do you use it from the quick settings?

Only from the quick settings. I have no applications installed which control the flash light.

Sounds strange, it works fine for me while testing in the latest version. Could you boot your phone into safe mode to see if same behaviour appear?

It is not software problem after all. I think its all related to the main camera which has started to have intermittent problems.

When the camera is working then the flash light is working properly too.

The phone is still under warranty so lets hope I can have the camera module replaced.

Did you try safe mode and do you mean that it's working OK when it's booted into safe mode? Before you visit a service center, it can be related to a third party app if the camera app functions in safe mode. There can be certain permissions for an app when you install it, for example access to the camera which can cause problems with the preinstalled camera.
