factory restore without accessing my settings??

I downloaded a Google App called Master Locker, set an easy swipe type of lock and all was fine. I was on my phone and a google screen came up about double tap??? and I back spaced to ignore. Next time I went to my phone double tap thingy was on.. my master locker I cannot swipe open, and because I was trying to fix this my battery went very low quickly and my phone reset to a 5 second lapse before lock screen. This has made it impossible for me to access or use my phone altogether. How do I do a factory restore without accessing my settings?? I have done a backup through PC Companion

You need to perform a system repair via PC Companion - Switch off your phone and unplug it from your Pc open PCC and run Support zone then select update my phone/tablet then in Blue select repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - At some point you will be asked to connect your phone - To do this hold volume down and connect your USB cable

Thank you so much!! I tried this earlier but it didnt work but it did this time!! I have a new phone!! Now to restore my backup..thanks!
