Exchange ActiveSync not probably working after Lollipop Update

I've Updated my Xperia Z1 Compact to Lollipop 5.0.2.

Now i have two Problems.

I have 5 Exchange Accounts and all of them only show new Emails hours after receiving in Exchange.

Seems like Push is not working probably.

One of the Exchange Accounts has all my Contacts with Phone Numbers.

After two days the phone deletes all these Contacts from the Internal Phonebook. In Exchange they are available.

I've already made a full wipe but the Problems stay.

Hi and welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear that you have issues with ActiveSync after the update.

Do you see this issue with all your accounts? Does push work for other apps like Gmail, Hangouts or Facebook Messenger?

I usually dont use these Apps, but I've tested it with the GMail Account und the Push Sync works.

I've send an Email and within secs it arrived on the Phone.

Under settings -> Accounts -> Exchange Active Sync  there are no Errors but last Sync Date is from Yesterday.

With a Manual Sync Emails will be Downloaded but the Contacts won't Sync anymore.

If you have Stamina enabled, try turning this feature off and see if that helps.

If not, see if you have a proxy and port in your APN under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names and try removing these.

Are you sure the contacts are not filtered? You can check this from Contacts -> [menu] -> Filter.

- Stamina is disabled

- APN - no proxy entry

- Contacts - No Filter for Exchange Accounts.

The first time I add the Exchange Account, all Contacts were synchronized. After a few hours all the Contacts get lost.

I can see this when i open the Contacts App.

All Contacts that I see in my Exchange Account under Contacts are not available.

But Contacts from the "suggested contacts" folder (like Email-Adress) stay in the Phone Contacts.

I have Whatsapp installed. When i start syncing, Whatsapp has all the Contact Names in it. A few hours later all the Names are gone.

Have you got any notification about internal storage getting full?

When you configured these accounts, did you select the option to synchronize all emails in them? It could perhaps be that there's too much data.

- 6,36 GB free Space on Internal Storage

- 4 of 5 only Syncing Email via Push

- 1 syncs everything

- every Account is activated with Automatic(Push)

I had the same issue. Time is apparently not the issue, since the same also happened after I had my phone turned off for some time. Yesterday I deleted all mobile devices from my exchange account and wiped the phone. Then I redefined the exchange account on the phone and made sure that on the exchange only one device is definedible for my account. Till now all contacts, meetings ate still on the phone.

I've been testing this here but i can't find any issue with push or contacts but i don't have 6 different accounts to test i'm afraid.

What server(s) are you using? Are they Microsoft Exchange or some other server with support for ActiveSync?

What happens if you only add one account? Perhaps you could use the other accounts in another client while testing this such as Mailwise?

@DM2

Glad to hear that you solved the issue and thanks for the feedback!

All Accounts are Exchange 2013CU7, all on the same server. I will test it with one account.
