Doesn't continue to load startup

My Xperia E1 is having problems starting up. It only stops at the part where the wavy screensaver is and doesn't continue to load though the main menu.

I tried the following and it doesn't work:

• Hard reset -- doesn't work when up volume and power keys are pressed

• Updating software -- it won't be detected by the laptop or computer in any way. I tried using PC Companion and it doesn't help either

Any other options? I badly need help. :0

What if you removed both SIM and SD cards > repair with PCC > do NOT insert any SIM/SD cards

Contact Sony Xperia Support as it could be a hardware issue.

It has no sim card or any sd cards when I try to boot it. To no avail, doesn't work. But thanks for the suggestion.
