Hi all, I'm having seriously annoying glitches that have only become apparent since the Lollipop update. The bottom third of my C6883 Z Ultra reacts slowly to on screen screen changes although remains perfectly touch sensitive. Is this a screen issue or a side effect of a dodgy update code? If anyone knows of a solution please get in contact.
Do you have any antivirus, taskiller, battery apps, third party lock screen and/or home launcher?
I agree with @David-Yaoming

I have PC Companion already installed, SUS is no longer supported which is a pity as my X10i, X10mini, Xperia Ray and Xperia S (NXT) never had any display issues and anything PC companion couldn't handle SUS solved.
There were a few supsect battery and task killing apps installed, however uninstalling them made no difference whatsoever. I then attempted different lighting levels to no avail. I have backed up and reflashed Lollipop via PC Companion but this makes no difference either. It doesn't happen all of the time however it is reoccuring. Are there any known display glitches or problems that are effecting other Z series users?
I am hoping that it's not a hardware issue although the C6883 is still under Sony warranty.
So still reoccurring, I'll link you all to a Youtube video that displays the same symptoms my C6883 is freaking out with. After only a year of using this unit I think it should last an awful lot longer than it has without beginning to fail.
It'll be wise to contact your local Xperia Care
In your opinion as a SONY Support Forum Veteran, what do you think the issue could be?
The screen glitching does seem to be prevalent whilst the phone is in stamina mode, it's rather odd as it doesnt happen all the time, usually for a few minutes after being woken up and rarely inbetween that time and I lock the phone. In your personal opinion is it a Hardware issue or a Software/Flash issue? It has been 'repaired' via PC Companion but to no avail as I stipulated above. I really want to exhaust every possibility before I dare send it off to SONY themselves.
How about if you test the screen
Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test the touchscreen.
There are no dead pixels, just a flickering, it only happens when I'm in the house which makes me think that there's some electromagnetic interference. Possibly the WIFI connection? Even when it's not connected to the WIFI the flickering still occurs.
What about hacking? If the device's security was compromised could this also have an impact on display related issues?
