Cannot delete SMS

I cannot delete SMS on my phone. When I attempt to delete it day "message deleted" however the SMS still remains. I'm using the default Sony messaging App.

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

Before you try the software repair,try the following: settings-apps-all,look for messages app,force stop and clear data. After this,disable the app. Restart your phone and follow the same path,enable back the app.

So the SMS is still there? The repair should have erased everything.

The repair erased everything, however I restored from my backup. I did not want to erase all my SMS only some particular messages.
