We won't get 4.2 or 4.3...

But we will get bug fixes for 4.1.2.

I've seen stuff like that before when I owned a Satio. That was one buggy handset and people were always asking about firmware updates - the contact livechat would reel of these stock statements about things 'being worked on' but that was all. The Satio only got a few updates and then was forgotten about. so even though that screen looks promising it doesn't really mean anything. I would like to see 4.2 or 4.3, I don't think devices should just be forgotten when they are perfectly capable.

Still, the P is a more stable device than the Satio ever was.

Jac, maybe you are right, but recently I've noticed that Sony releases more and better updates than few months or years ago. 

So I hope we will get stable update like Xperia S users.

It would be only 3rd release of JB for Xperia P.

Ibryasn,  no - there is no info about the new update but it doesn't mean that it won't be tomorrow or in the next week.

In my opinion, ICS is also buggy - because of camera problem or call log bug, etc.

I dont know if sony is going to give Xperia P an upgrade or not but the apps are really buggy atleast sony can give us app upgrades and please build some support in Pakistan

Basically devs are working on it. It wont be an official rom. Sony employees update a phone 2 versions max in contrast with samsung... Im currently using android 4.2 and its really good, now waiting for android 4.3

the news leak in GSMarena website says Xperia P is not scheduled for Android 4.3

The first NXT phones are not even included in that chart.It was obvious that P,S and U will not get 4.3,but maybe one of them will get other software updates.
