Apple Earpod not working with xperia j

Hi I Have Apple Earpods i was using it awhile ago but when i use it now it wont work anymore. I thought there is problem with my phone so i turn it off but when i turn it on again and try to play music again it wont work it plays with the phone speaker but when i try the Earphone of my xperia j it worked. Can you help me please? Thanks a lot

It is recommended that you use sony earpods only.Try and clear data for smart connect in settings-apps-all,see if that helps.

I have problems with my phone when i turn it off and turn on again all of my photos and music disappear. i need to update and update my library or wait until it appears again. i dont know what to do. and my google play wont work already .

It is related to micro SD card.There are some compatibility issues between sony devices and some sd cards.
